Movement:

The game is setup into 49 Systems with 36 Quadrants within each system and 16 Sectors within each Quadrant.

The level and amount of engines decreases the amount of turns required for movement between Systems, Quadrants, and Sectors. Moving from one system to another requires a System Drive. If your ship does not have a System Drive, you must use a Portal for movement between systems with planets. Empty systems do not have portals, requiring a System Drive to be reached.

The level and amount of engines decreases the amount of turns required for travel between Quadrants and Sectors.

By default it requires 20 turns for each quadrant that you move within a system:

  • 1 X Engine I = 20 Turns
  • 2 X Engine I = 18 Turns
  • 3 X Engine I = 16 Turns
  • 1 X Engine II = 18 Turns
  • 2 X Engine II = 16 Turns
  • 3 X Engine II = 14 Turns
  • 1 X Engine III = 16 Turns
  • 2 X Engine III = 14 Turns
  • 3 X Engine III = 12 Turns

By default it requires 10 turns for each sector that you move within a quadrant:

  • 1 X Engine I = 10 Turns
  • 2 X Engine I = 8 Turns
  • 3 X Engine I = 6 Turns
  • 1 X Engine II = 8 Turns
  • 2 X Engine II = 6 Turns
  • 3 X Engine II = 4 Turns
  • 1 X Engine III = 6 Turns
  • 2 X Engine III = 4 Turns
  • 3 X Engine III = 2 Turns

The higher level of a system drive your ship possesses, the fewer amount of turns it will take to fly between systems. System Drive's do not stack. A ship or station only needs one to function.

Ship:

  • 1 X System Drive I = 200 Turns
  • 1 X System Drive II = 150 Turns
  • 1 X System Drive III = 100 Turns

Station:

  • 1 X System Drive I = 300 Turns
  • 1 X System Drive II = 250 Turns
  • 1 X System Drive III = 200 Turns
